SEATTLE - Adm. Thomas Collins, Commandant of the Coast Guard, delivers a speech during the Coast Guard Cutter Swordfish's commissioning ceremony today in Port Angeles, Wash. Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington attended the ceremony and is the new 87-patrol boat's sponsor. The commissioning ceremony marks the entry of the new cutter into the Coast Guard fleet. Coast Guard Cutter Swordfish, the Puget Sound's newest 87-foot patrol boat

SEATTLE - Visitors gather in Port Angeles, Wash., onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Swordfish, the Puget Sound's newest 87-foot patrol boat. The cutter officially entered the Coast Guard fleet during a commissioning ceremony held at Coast Guard Group/Air Station Port Angeles, the ships home port. Adm. Thomas Collins, Commandant of the Coast Guard, and the ships sponsor, Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington, were on hand for the ceremony. Senator Cantwell is the ships sponsor and Lt. j.g. Salazar is the ships commanding officer. The Swordfish is the Puget Sound's newest 87-foot patrol boat and was introduced into the Coast Guard fleet during a commissioning ceremony today.
